Hi Halfsizer,
Are you noticing the popping noise when you pair to another device, like a phone? If you have not already tried pairing to another device, do so and let me know if you're still noticing the problem.
Thanks,
JawboneJaimie

I have the same exact issue. I've paired big Jambox as stereo bluetooth headphones (how it automotically paired) and I get bad popping sounds during playback. When I connect with the jack I don't have this issue.
Changing the settings in the sound system preferences doesn't seem to help.
MBP OSX 10.7.4
Any help?
Thanks,
Ben

I also just connected to my iphone 3gs, and I don't have the issue with the popping. It seems to be an issue between the MBP and the big jambox. Any ideas?

Haha...the whole Big Jambox?! That's funny. I might throw it back to the company if this doesn't get fixed and just go with Bose's product, even if I like the design of the big jambox better.

This sounds promising but I don't see any way of changing the "Bluetooth headphones" output type. Here is a screenshot of my audio prefrences window:
I also tried deleting the existing Big Jambox profile, and repairing, but it never gives me an option to select or change this output type. In fact it never gives me any options; it pairs, and tells me it's done.

I'm still having this problem. My workaround is to just use wired, but this is quite dissapointing as a major reason I bought this was to enjoy wireless connectivity.
MyTalk reports that my software is up to date.
