Minimum Volume Level

Is it normal for the lowest volume setting to be fairly loud? For lower night time volume levels I have to turn my iPad's volume down to between half and 3/4 volume.

I have notice the same thing.  I had own the original Jambox and did not have this problem when playing at night.  I like the Big Jambox because it has lots of volume but plays fairly loud at the lowest setting.  It would be nice if they had a firmware update that would allow more volume control or a quiet setting for listening at night.
