Universal Power on the Big Jambox Wall Charger

I travel back and forth between the US and the UK a lot. Does anyone know if the Big Jambox wall charger supports 100-240AC, 50/60 hz power? I know I'd need a plug adapter, but will it physically work or is the power just US only?

Welcome to the Jawbone Speaker Community! The BIG JAMBOX North America charger supports an input of 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz 1.0A and an output of 14.5V, 2.48A.

An international cable pack will be available on the web store that will provide the appropriate regional cables for BIG JAMBOX, once it is available in other countries!

What are the cylinder specifications for the the wall adapter? (Specifically inner and outer diameter and polarity) I've broken more wall chargers than I care to admit by ripping the cables as I walk through them, so I often find I have to replace the ends of them, and knowing what end I should buy/machine helps greatly.

We recommend you only use the manufacturer supplied charger to charge your BIG JAMBOX. Other chargers may look similar, but using them could result in electric shock and could damage your BIG JAMBOX. Replacement chargers are available from jawbone.com, if your charger is lost or damaged.

Would that be the standard $29.99 (at this time) "Micro USB Wall Charger"? (It doesn't say which Jambox it works with, so I figure it's worth making sure).

At this time, I'm not sure about the price for the BIG JAMBOX replacement charger. But the price of the charger will be announced, when the product becomes available!

Just checking in to see if there's any progress on getting separate chargers for sale.

Can we charge/run from the microUSB, if there's no separate chargers available? (My gut says no, due to power limitations on standard USB, but it can't hurt to ask)

We expect adapters to be sold separately online, but currently do not have a timeline just yet! Because of the BIG JAMBOX's 15 hour battery life, charging via the provided USB cable can work, but will take awhile.
