I just got the jambox a few days ago, playing music both thru my iphone and macbook pro. The sound has been great, until for no reason, my macbook lost sound quality. It still plays but the sound is tinny and weak. My iphone still works great and I cannot figure out why there was a sudden shift in sound from the laptop. I tried restarting both the laptop and jambox, as well as reinstalling the device on computer, none of which have solved the problem! Is there something else I can do to fix this?

Hi midjune,
I'm happy to help you with this issue. The first step is to check to see what your Bluetooth settings are. Open up your Bluetooth preferences on your mac and make sure that it is connected through stereo and NOT mono. Usually when the Jambox is playing well on one device and not on another, it has to do with pairing preferences.
Let me know if this helps!

That worked, for a day or so, though now my bluetooth connection keeps on dropping the connection. I have re-paired and reinstalled several times. In the bluetooth preferences, it says the device is paired, but not connnected. It will connect briefly and then drop it automatically. Any idea why this may be happening?
Thanks!

Can pairings be deleted from the JB's? Often times BT issues are resolved by deleting the pairing and resetting.

I was surprised you did not have this problem sooner. JAMBOX DOES NOT WORK with mac computers. The Bluetooth connection is not stable. It has been this way for a year since a Mac OS upgrade and they refuse to discuss it. I have worked with Customer Support - they can't fix it. This JawBone Jamie will not even answer my e-mails. JAMBOX works with iPhones and iPads, but will not workconsistently with the Mac! Sorry...
