Big fan of the ERA after 24hrs and 4 hrs of talking. It is working very well w/ iPhone 3GS. Prior BT earpiece was Voyager Pro+ (which is very good as well, but if I hadn't lost last week, may not have tried the ERA). Big plus is the volume and quality of the speaker sound - huge improvement. ok, back to my question ... I've successfully paired both my cell phone and laptop w/ the ERA. Initially, I can hear PC sounds and answer cell phone calls, back an forth thru ERA ... BUT, if I use IP telephony (Microsofts Office Communicator) on laptop, it disconnects the cell phone, and I cannot reconnect to cell phone w/o disconnecting laptop pairing. I am hoping that I only need to adjust something for both to stay paired and ability to alternate back and forth between cell calls and IP telephony on laptop. Can anyone provide some help? Thx!!!

You should be able to pair the Era with two Bluetooth devices for alternating usage. You may want to call Jawbone Tech Support on this.
Are you experiencing issues with static during calls or listening to music over the Era as others have experienced?
Are the announcements (when a call comes in or battery status update) a lower volume than other audio?
These are issues others on these discussion boards have experienced with the Era.
I'm curious to hear if you're plagued by these issues or if perhaps their Eras were part of a problem batch.
Please respond and let us know your experiences with the Era.
There are other threads that reference these issues as well for example, "Jawbone ERA and phone 4"

i'll probably need to call support, the ERA is connects to two different devices fine, and during headset use - sounds from PC and cell phone calls are fine; but when i do a telephony connection on pc, it drops the cell phone connect - i think whatever bluetooth service is doing the telephony, it's conflicting w/ the connection to the phone. oh well, i'll check w/ support
re: your other questions ...
i am experiencing no static during calls or listening to music. (this Jawbone is as good, or better (so far) than my Plantronics Pro+) ... i am connected to an iPhone 3GS so maybe something in the different phone material is causing it ... and i'm waiting 'til iPhone 5 to upgrade, so i'll be fine for now.
regarding annoucements, yes ... lower than phone/podcast volume, but hasn't been an issue ...
i purchased a Shadowbox model from Apple Store
