Can pair and hear fine but cannot be heard

My Era can pair fine, and I can hear callers without problems. However, when I speak, I cannot be heard at the receiving end. What I do hear is an echo of what I'm saying coming out of the Era. I've tried the soft reset twice and the problem remains. I can hear music fine as well. I just cannot be heard. I'd appreciate any help you can lend on this matter.

Re: Can pair and hear fine but cannot be heard

Here's the link to ERA support.  Jawbone seems to keep an eye on the forums, but the quickest way to solve any problems would be to contact support.

I know at least one of you has tried the reset, which support seems to recommend a lot.  After the reset did you try unpairing your headset, erasing the setting from your phone, and re-pairing?

What version of Bluetooth are you using?  I believe Jawbone requires 1.2 or later.

Other than that I know it's importand that the Voice Activation Sensor  (VAS) touches your cheek when you talk.  There is some additional good info in this last link.
