ERA FIND ANSWERS QUICKLY! |

This is my second ERA. (My first was wonderful but it was "misplaced" when my 12 yr old decided to help clean. Sigh.) I just purchased from Amazon, took it out of the box, charged it, annnnnnnnd...... nothing. The only lights that will come on are the blinking red when it's on the charger. The double shake shake does not do anything. If I push the "talk" button at all while the ERA is turned on, it makes the sound that you hear when you initially turn the headpiece on - but it does it over and over and over. I've tried a soft reset and that won't do anything. I can't do a hard reset because there's no white light that turns on. I'm ready to return this piece of you-know-what, but I wanted to check to see if anyone else has had this problem or if there are any fixes I don't know about. Any help is much appreciated!

I also seem to have an issue. The Era charges and will display a white ring after a bit, but upon unplugging seems to do nothing. Soft reset doesn't do anything; upon releasing the talk button it goes to charging normally. I can't do a hard reset because no lights display on the unit at all.
