Era & FaceTime Issues

Is anybody else experiencing severe quality loss in FaceTime calls while connected to their Era headset?

Both my audio output and microphone input become terrible while on a FaceTime call.

I have repeated this symptom thoroughly  and have deduced its from FaceTime directly. does anyone know why?
