ERA FIND ANSWERS QUICKLY! |

I cannot get my Era to speak the name of the caller. It speaks the number, but I bought it because it said on the website that the caller name is spoken. I have tried twice to remove and re-enter the names and numbers in my caller list but still nothing. Apart from this I am very please with my Era, just frustrated that I can't get this to work.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Where do you live?
It doesnt work for all countries yet, they said it will take some weeks probably a month if you ask me.But hopefully very soon as it was a while ago they said it.
if it doenst work i will return my headset ive already talked to the shop that accept this.
Then i just wait for the price drop (it must happen if caller id doesnt work, value goes down).

I am having the same problem. It only says the numbers. I turned off the caller id on my era and am using the one that comes with my phone (Nokia N8). Can't hear it through the era, but at least I can hear who is calling by name.

Hi Rusty,
This thread has a accepted solution because the original poster got their answer they were looking for. A accepted solution helps future users find their answer they want quickly.
We don't close threads after solutions have been made because this allows other users to ask followup questions if needed, or thank a user for giving a great answer.
