Re: Jawbone ERA connection with Samsung Galaxy Nexus i9250 (Ice Cream Sandwich)

Please count me amongst those with a Galaxy nexus and ERA problems.  Get strange noisy connections.  SOmetimes cannot hear the other person on the other end and vice versa.  Have latest updates in my ERA and my SGN

Count me in as well.   If I remove Jawbone Companion then it seems to work better.

Hi chiggin1 and jrabin,

Sorry to hear about the problems you're experiencing.

ciggin1 – Do you also have Jawbone Companion for Android installed, or are you having problems without the application?

jrabin – Can you try unpairing and repairing your headset, and try reinstalling the application to see if the noisy connections are fixed?

Hi Lisa :smileyhappy:

Do you know if anyone is working for a new firmware?

Hi Akis,

We're always working to improve and enhance our products.  If you are having specific problems with your ERA, please contact customer support.  They can help you troubleshoot your headset, and arrange for a replacement if there is a problem and the headset is under warranty.

Re: Jawbone ERA connection with Samsung Galaxy Nexus i9250 (Ice Cream Sandwich)

I have both a Jawbone ERA and a Jawbone ICON. and anGalaxy Nexus 9250 (GSM),  iPhone 3GS, an iPhone 4 and an iPad 2.

The ICON works fine with everything. Immediately pairs & immediately connects. The ERA works with everything EXCEPT the Galaxy Nexus. It rarely ever connects, rarely ever pairs.  Get "incorrect PIN" message at times, get "cannot communicate" message at times.  I have gone through all different resets and the ERA->Nexus are barely functional.

The NEXUS->ICON is 100% perfect.

What's up?

Bingo!  I have the same exact problem.  I have to strain to hear the Android Voice Dialer prompt.  Very frustrating!  The volume is perfect during the ring and during the call.

I have random sound cutout too.  Very frustrating!  Sometimes it will play fine for 30 minutes and then start missing every other second until I turn off bluetooth on the Galaxy Nexus and then back on again.  This is just awful.  Another post on this thread said an update is  coming,  should I expect that before  I die?
