I have a trouble with my Jawbone Era 2011 when i talk he can't ear me because the sound is jerky.
I need to try to make a master reset but the customer service refused to send me by email the instruction he want to talk the customer service by phone.
the trouble i can't speak by phone because i talk in french only..
I very dissapointed about my jawbone and it is the last one i buy.
A many person on this forum have a trouble with this earphones for the same trouble and the company don't release a fix at all user for this trouble and he continue to sell the Era in the store.
They are laughing at us
For the future buyer with a Iphone 4 i say DON'T BUY IT....

I have the iphone 4s and it was a software up date that was needed. Try doing a software update for your era. it works good now....

I have a iPhone 4s running 5.0.1. I have used a Plantronics Voyager Pro since it came out on thi iPhone, and blackberry before. The sound is as good as being in the same room, in both directions. However, its clunky, and its difficult to transport. It broke. So I bought an ERA yesterday. Paired it in seconds. I hear very clearly, but no one can hear me. I opened a ticket with Jawbone, they got me to reboot the iphone, reset the ERA a few times, but the sound quality is bad...its unusable. It's nice looking, but zero functionality. I guess their noise canceling works too well...it even cancels my voice :-)

I don't believe it's a problem with the ERA. It's with iOS 5.0.1. I went to Apple's Genius bar and the tech proved that is the case. He had a 4s in a drawer with 5.0 on it and paired the ERA with it. Clear as a bell. Of course Apple admits to nothing on their forums so we wait and wait and wait for 5.1.

I'm on a 3GS running iOS 4.3.1 and have the same problem, so it's not just iOS 5. Jawbone software is up-to-date. Time to look for a new headset.

Have you tried soft resetting your headset? If you already have and are still noticing issues, please find the factory reset instructions here. Please give these a try and let me know if it helps resolve your ERA problems.
