I received my Jawbone Era in the mail yesterday and it worked well, but today it sounds terrible. The voice is staticy and I cannot understand anything it says. Also, when I play music, there are popping sounds. I am using a nonstandard audio app. I have tried both a soft and factory reset, and tried with multiple devices. Is there some way to fix this, or should I just return it?

You tried the resets, but what about the latest firmware? Does MyTalk say you're up to date? Also did you remove the bluetooth pairing from the phone and then re-pair after the reset?

I'm having similar problems. I've had my Era for about two months now I guess, but every call is staticky and the sound drops in and out. I have a DROID Bionic, but I tested it on a HTC Rezound and had the same problem. Curiously, I also tried it on an LG Revere and Samsung Convoy (both flip phones) and the sound was better, though not perfect.
I've already updated the firmware and followed the advice I've found on this board, such as unpairing and repairing the phone. Is there anything else I can do or should I demand a warranty replacement?
Thanks.
