I used my device out of the box until it ran out of charge. tried charging it back up and nothing. no lights, nothing. tried soft reset. computer says it does not recognize the device.
this thing is only a few days old and it is completely dead. any similar experiences?
I'm so sorry to hear about your non-responsive ERA. Please give Customer Support a call at 1800-JAWBONE, between the hours of 6am-7pm PST. They will give you troubleshooting tips or discuss warranty options with you.
Another victim of unsuccesfull update here!!! Tried with resetting, soft, hard, plug it in while pressing TALK button....nothing helps!
I would love to replace mine, but I bought it on ebay and my seller is not responding!
Replacement is not possible also on Jawbone online shop, cause they don't ship in Europe!!!
What should I do!? I mean I used device in proper manner! There isn't a slightest warning on update site that your device can be bricked if updated!!!
Do you find it reasonable to offer replacement if it's bricked during YOUR update! Or at least shut down update site until updating problem is solved!

I had my Era for a few weeks now. I loved everything about it. Today I had working fine untill evening when I turned it on to discover it doesn't respond at all. No lights come on when I trun it on, when I try to reset it or even when I connect it to the power. It's just dead. The computer doesn't recognize what device it is.
I can't find the warranty documents or anything related to it. I had it as a present and now I don't know what to do with it?
Please help us on what should we do!
