Boy I wish I were writing with the solution, but actually I'm in Exactly the same situation (windows 7, bluetooth device acknowledged as being installed), but no music coming through. Hope someone will have some clues. (for whatever it's worth the tech people at Staples couldn't get it ).

Echoi, I did find out some more, but maybe not the answer. The bluetooth device I plugged into my windows 7 laptop was a Targus (ACB20) bluetooth adaptor and on their support website is a disclaimer against using the device on a Windows 7 machine without a downloaded driver at Broadcom.com. I went to download it but it would not download because it said it did not recognize my Bluetooth device. (meanwhile, the HP laptop does recognize the device). Maybe the Broadcom download will work for you. Best of luck and hope for better advice than what I can do.

hey Mista,
yeah I've heard about downloading some kind of aftermarket driver that could work... (maybe from logitech or something)... I've got a Dell w/ built-in bluetooth. Tried the Targus one... no luck.
am hoping someone can tell me the specific driver
best of luck to you too, cheers
