I have the same issues.
I'm very disapointed about this earphone.
It is the last time bought a jawbone product.

Same issues here. Candidly, I find all bluetooth headsets lacking these days.

Hi.I got today my Jawbone Era.
First thing i did is to plug it on my pc and update it to the latest firmware.Had some issues with the android software even if the Era was connected it was refusing to see it solved that one with a phone reboot.Noise Assasin is working perfect but the only complain i have is that the voice of the others sounds like i hear them through a subwoofer too much bass if you know what i mean.Everything else is perfect.Btw the phone that i have pair it is a Samsung Galaxy S II.
Thank you.

Well just an update.
After i played a little bit with my Era.I notice the crackling noise which only happens on call and when the volume is turned to max if you reduce the volume -2 it dissapears.I plug in my old headset an HTC-100s put it on max volume and made a call.I couldnt hear the crackling noise but there was some short of noise not that much though to make you hang out i really believe its a matter of software and not something hardware.
I also notice that theres a lag between phone and headset i dont know if this is normal or no i just report it though.Just watched a music video and the lyrics was out of sync.
Thanks.

Good evening yall.
Ive been playing all day with Noise Assasin and for one thing im sure it works perfect i still dont like the bass though makes the voice of the other caller really bad you dont hear them clear.I also noticed that from HTC and Nokia phones i dont hear the crakling noise when the volume is max but im still convinced that my phone gives more volume that the headset can handle.
Sometimes also i get few disconnects from mycompanion android software i have to click on it again to reconnect.
Btw this is the first product i take from Jawbone and i really dont want to loose my faith so soon cause Era seems to be a great headset im hoping for a firmware update that will short all of these.
Thank you.

Akis, you have previously mentioned that you have Samsung Galaxy S .
Have you compared the incoming sound crakling on high volume with ERA paired with HTC / Samsung Galaxy S / other phone ?

Also have a sound crackling on high volume paired with SE ARC S.

Hey IceB.
I only hear the crackling noise on female voices.I also dont hear it when my brother calls me from hes HTC Diamond or hes Nokia 6300.Ill try to pair my Era with those phones and test it.Its like my Samsung Galaxy S2 overcloking the Era speaker and make it produce more loud noise. One thing im sure the noise assasin works like a charm.Last night i had another issue i charge the Era and after 1 hour in standby dropped to 2 hours of talk time had to reset it and recharge it now its back to 5 hours of talk time :/ strange.
