About the 3rd or 4th time this has happened at random when using the headset. It takes quite a few reset processes to reset it with mine.

 

Absolutely unacceptable from a device of this price point; and this is my second one! :smileysad:

Yesterday I started receiving the same error message. Today I contacted tech support after trying all of the soft and hard resets on my own (several times), typically I am able to fix these sort of things on my own. We went through all of them over the phone as well and none of them work. It was determined that I would have to send my Jawbone in with a proof of purchase for swap out. As it turns out I purchased my device on April 27th 2011 online, but the item was on backorder through BestBuy and didn't arrive at my house until May 5th, exactly 1 year ago today. I spoke with customer service and they informed me that there was nothing I could do except pay money to mail in my Jawbone and then receive 25% off my next Jawbone since it goes by purchase date and not date of arrival of the device. After spending $130 for the Jawbone era I can honestly say that I will never be purchasing a Jawbone product ever again.

Same problem here with iphone 4 ios 5.1, however it seems fine after I shut it off and restart, gonna see if this will happen again =/

That seemed to work, except that It didn't go into pairing mode while holding on the 7th push of the talk button. I made sure by holding it for a full minute. But I reset my phone and unpaired the era and then repaired. But before that I made sure that the jawbone was up to date on the mytalk updater. But thanks for the tip.
