red AND white leds continuously on [ Edited ]

just as the title says... my red and white indicator leds are constantly on, even if the device is switched off. at first i thought id simply let the battery die, and the problem would be solved. but after draining the battery, everytime i stick it in for recharging, the red+white light is back on. please assist.

as you can see from the picture, the unit is off but both lights are still on.

I'm having the same problem. I've tried both soft reset and hard reset. Nothing seems to work. If anyone has a solution, please share. #frustrated

There's aparently nothing you can do - I had to get mine replaced.

Thanks for writing in and I'm sorry about the problems you're having with your Era. It's definitely not supposed to do that so if the standard reset (hold down talk button, plug into power, let go of button) had no effect then you're correct that you'll have to get it replaced. Give us a call at 1800-JAWBONE 6am-7pm PST and we can help you get that replaced if you're still under warranty.

hi jaimie, thanks for the support. i DID call your 800 number and was told by your CS agent that because i bought the unit via ebay, and although my warranty is still active, i wouldn't get a replacement because warranty does not extend beyond the person who sold it to me.

funny world we live in. instead of receiving special attention for having paid a 50% PREMIUM over retail price to get a jawbone era into dubai (there was no one carrying the era at that time here), i was given the 'oh we can not honor warranty' nonsense. i have used 3 jawbones in the past, all of which were imported from the states into dubai (yes, i am impatient when it comes to my bluetooth headphones) but i guess rules are rules right? WRONG. you should be proud to have clients who go out of their way to obtain your amazing products - its people like me (and hunderds of others) who make your brand what it is today.

anyways, i'm starting to sound like a cry-baby. long story short, i called, you guys refused, i chucked the unit, problem solved

I have the same problem but it seems mine has only the white light on even when I turn the Jawbone off. Also I have tried the reset of it and it will turn to the heart beat red light. But once I take it off the charger, it just turns on again.

Here comes the funny part. The light does go off when I press the talk button a few times but it will come on again. Like a reset. I tried it by connecting it to the PC so when I press the talk button it will disconnect from the PC like a reset. Then the white light will just come on again.

Although it has warranty, I bought it from Amazon and am living in Singapore, so I do not think that I will even get any replacement at all.

Is there a way I can self repair it? If not I will need to get a new one and there goes my $$...
