A notification of email and text

I work in a very loud environment, and having an audible tone go off in the ear piece when ever I recieve a text or email, would really help me out.

I agree - I usually wear my Jawbone while driving and don't want to deal with my phone, especially not to read/respond to texts and emails. In a perfect world, there would be a notification, then the option to have the message read to you, and the option to have your spoken response transcribed into text.

same here, I don't understand why it wasn't included in the first place. Even though my other cheap headsets wont' do it either, I do expect a little bit more when I'm paying over $100 for a bluetooth headset.

Obviously a very old chain of emails, but is this option available yet?  I just bought the ERA and I can hear facebook notifications but not texts or emails???  Anyone know how to get this right?
