Updated ICON to latest software and firmware; using it with iPhone 4. Worked amazing and flawless before.

I may have answered myself, as there were some other tips I put all together...
in the MyTalk settings try these
1) simultaneous connections "off"
2) A2DP "off"
3) in call press n hold "noise assassin"
Also went back to original voice dial Voice
everything seems okay for now, at least based on a few brief tests.

As a follow-up; no it didn't.
I bought it when it first came out and it was flawless, until the MyTalk.
I believe the original firmware update that gave us the thrill of "MyTalk" has rendered the Icon far less useful and reliable than previous models. Why else all this Forum talk of turning "off" features from MyTalk to fix issues like echo, noise, low volume etc.
The pat JB answer is "call Jawbone" so you can wait for someone to tell you how to "un pair" your iCon and how to reset it. Of course I should've just sent it in but now as its out of warrantee I'll probably go back to just holding the phone. I could try another headsets but if Jawbone - who used ot be the best - is turning out products like this then why bother?
And on a related not - of COURSE the new "Type C" earbuds do not fit the Icon....

I just noticed that - like most Americans - I am so complacent I have had this problem for over a year. Isuppose if nothing else it fixes the time (thanks Jawbone) from hence I have had problems. Maybe I will call after all, as I can at least "prove" that while inder warranty the iCon was not working.
I just realized, I like it better spelled that way, more illustrative of th eproduct "iCOn"
