Getting a Good Fit

Hello All,

I recently purchased a Jawbone Icon and I love how it works.  My issue lies in the fit.  I have a beard that doesn't allow the headset to rest nicely on my cheek, so it sticks out a little bit.  This makes it easy to knock off the headset when using the 'ear-loop'.  If I use the no-loop in-ear piece they just don't fit right and either fall out or begin to hurt after a few minutes.

I wish the headset had a system that would lock it to my ear....or shove in like a hearing aid.  I've looked at the custom ear piece for 80 dollars and i'm tempted...but I don't want to invest 80 dollars is somthing that "may" work out.

Any other options?

Cheers,

Kevin

I have the same issues. Have you found a solution for yours yet?

Re: Getting a Good Fit

Has anyone found a resolution tio this problem? I just purchased an Icon and am working through the kinks of using a new piece of technology. With my beard, I have the same issue as Kevin as well as people not being able to hear me properly...

Re: Getting a Good Fit

I also had trouble with fit and with volume. I did find a small replacement ear piece, the Umbo ear bud. It seems to work well with the loop for me. I just got it in the mail today but so far its seems to help with not falling out and with directing more sound into my ear. Site is www.umboearbud.com
