Thanks for writing on our forums, Epelba01. Sounds like your Jawbone is exhibiting some strange charging behaviors. The most important things to remember while charging are to make sure the ICON is turned off, and that you are charging from a reliable USB port, whenever possible, on your powered-up computer. Also, try a"soft" reset on your unit to refresh it and restore proper functionality:
1.Hold down the TALK button (see image below).
2.Plug the headset on to the charger.
3.When you see the red LED flash, release the TALK button.
4.Remove the headset from the charger and power ON normally.

I have tried all your suggestions. And this is my second Jawbone. I have spoken to one of your senior support reps that told me that this behavior is normal you are telling me it is not. Who is telling me the truth?

yes and now it will not charge at all! Wowit only works once a month!
