Jambox Static When Paired w/ iPad

I have paired my Jambox with my iPad and I am receiving constant static even when no sound is being played.  When I do have audio I still only hear static.  Is there a way for me to reset this?  Please post appropriate steps if possible instead of an indication to call Scott/Mason.  I am sure whatever troubleshooting steps I can accomplish if the steps are posted here.
