Why I would seriously discourage anyone from buying a Jawbone headset !

In what universe did a design team think it was acceptable to not have a mute function on a headset.

This is such a basic piece of functionality that it boggles the mind how it could have been overlooked.  I didn't even think to check this before purchasing because I was so sure it would be a standard feature.

 

Please see that this is remedied through software immediately.  It should be very straightforward.
