Battery is close to full but never full

My first jambox bricked, so this is my second one. I noticed that the battery was dead when I received it ... odd since most electronics come with some sort of charge out of the box. After charging it overnight, it still only reports battery is close to full as opposed to full. Anyone have any ideas? I'm worried this may be a precursor to a bad battery experience ...

Hi tracedef,

"Battery is about full" is the highest battery announcement level. Charging the device overnight should be more than adequate to obtain a full charge, and the solid white LED, while plugged in, indicates full charge.
