i like the device and i am a great fan.  looking forward for the big one.

but after seeing this forum and how this has been an _active wish_

of the community for _years_, and still being ignored (regardless how

much work this would be, though as a programmer i imagine it to be

quite trivial actually) curbed my enthusiasm for this company considerably.

no more excuses please, the volume beeps must go (please).

I got my Jawbone Jambox today and after one hour of testing i'll return it to Amazon!

Such a very disappointing product! Sound quality is awesome, using it as a speakerphone is awesome, using the product is annoying!

Does anyone at Jawbone tested the product before it was launched? This seems like some outsourced engeneering company did the development and was never really tested.

Who's idea was to implement such annoying loud beeps and voices?

+1 on lowering/eliminating the beeps when the volume is changed. 

Like others have also expressed, this is my single compliant on what otherwise is a delightful product.

Unfortunately its a VERY significant design flaw... BEEP BEEP BEEP is an unacceptable way of signaling a volume change. Its very disruptive to the listening experience.

Disabling all voice prompts is not a viable solution since it makes it very difficult to check battery, pair with devices, figure out when the device is connected/disconnected..

+1 here as well. Seems to me the user interface was designed by the same ^%##%^* who decided that all modern parking ticket machines here in Sweden must emit ear-crushing beeps while printing the ticket. Probably someone thought it good for deaf people or something?

Please make the **bleep** beeps go away, Jawbone. Yes the product works very good sound wise and bluetooth is a dream, but it is SO very annoying to have to use it with your beeps :-(

I just got one from Amazon and really like it but its going back since I cant turn off the beeps its too bad because its a nice products just unusable since you cant turn beeps off.

I like the Jambox but I also want to have the choice to turn off any beeps. I already turned of the voice but it still beeps. Please update!

Need to cut the volume on those beeps by about 25%.

The BEEPS are too LOUD 

(see, things that are jarringly out of place are really annoying) 

Now, I CANNOT believe that this is a particularly difficult issue to fix becasue when the device is connected via a 3.5mm guess what, there are no beeps.  

Please, for the love of god, can you show us that you care and fix this problem.

Agree.  Mine is going back.  No excuses for not fixing this glaring issue.
