You should try resetting the Jambox:

Bought mine, 8 days ago.
Dead on arrival. So I start doing all the reset / upgrade / live chat / support stuff.
(been there, done that .....)
Called AppleStore, shipped the item, being replace today, arrived @0830am.
.... SECOND item was also not able to charge. I have no confidence in their quality control! Shape up.
I have two items, doing EXACT that. Your battery / power supply doesn't do much.
It simply will not charge. RMA is my advice, did this TWICE already.
Excellent product idea, but I have no confidence in their quality control, bad execution.
