How to find the version of the Bluetooth installed in my JAMBOX Blue Wave

Bought a new JAMBOX, opened it, paired it with my Blackberry phone, put in my fav song, found the volume to low. Read few blogs that the volume is low due to the version on the blue tooth. Can anybody tell me how to find the version of bluetooth installed in my JAMBOX Blue wave?

Hi shiburd,

The version of Bluetooth on the device hasn't changed, but if there is concern about not having the latest version, please connect your JAMBOX using the included USB cable to MyTALK to make sure your device is running the latest firmware. I also wanted to mention, the source device volume plus the JAMBOX volume both impact how loud the volume is.  Additionally, you should check to see if LiveAudio is enabled.

Re: How to find the version of the Bluetooth installed in my JAMBOX Blue Wave

I've had my Jawbone for about a year and I'm really disappointed with the sound quality considering how much I paid. I can't use it when entertaining outdoors; any more than a few metres away and you can barely hear it. This is with both phone and Jawbone at max volume. I have friends with cheap docking stations who get better sound. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi RLongmire,

Thanks for posting on the forum. First, please make sure that LiveAudio is off by pressing the - & + buttons at the same time. Next, set the volume on your connected device as high as it can go. Can you please confirm that you have installed the latest firmware?
