JAMBOX FIND ANSWERS QUICKLY! |

I'm trying to find a way to make my Jambox integrate with my existing Sonos multi room system. I've moved house recently and have myself a spare sonos box which I was considering using for my bathroom. For this I would need an amp/cable run/ceiling speakers yada yada...
I already own a Jambox. Is there a way I can connect the Sonos box to a Bluetooth transmitter and send to the Jambox, which will sit in neatly the bathroom?
I've searched the forums and for products which may be compatible but found nothing.
Anyone out there know how I can do this?
Thanks

Depends on what Sonos box you have. But some of them, like Connect have a RCA ouput. If you get a RCA to 3.5mm cable converter (something like this
http://bit.ly/AxAj00) you can then use the 3.5mm cable provided with your JAMBOX to connect to the JAMBOX.
If you want Bluetooth to your JAMBOX, then you could get something like
http://amzn.to/zg9M1q and then pair it to your JAMBOX.
Note, I haven't used either of those specific products/ adapters, but as long as you find quality ones, that setup should work.

Travis,
I currently have a Jambox and I use it with Several Devices that use an RCA output to 3.5 adapter. It works just fine.
I recently used the Jambox with a Television output because the speakers on the tv are poor.
I use the output from my television, Reel to Reel tape player, and even a turntable.
I have to say, I have read SO many of the posts in this forum and cannot believe that problems people are having with the Jambox, Then I noticed a pattern.. MOST of the Problems are with APPLE products. Pairing, Sound Quality, Static, etc etc etc..
TO DATE, and I have owned my Jambox nearly a year now I have NEVER had an issue with mine. I love this device, I wish I could afford several more!
I tell everyone I know and meet about this fantastic little amplified device! I just love it!
This little Jambox is SO versatile I cannot imagine any situation where it cannot be used to play music.
I use it with my Sony mp3 player, my samsung Galaxy SII, Yamaha Stereo, Vizio TV, AKAI reel to reel, etc! This little powerhouse just keeps on performing! Even the battery life is fantastic.
Thank you for posting a positive response keep em coming.

Travis,
After I posted the previous message I got to thinking.
Is there a way to integrate WIFI into the Jambox? I use a streaming media controller and could use my Jambox to produce music from that was well if it were available. Is there any chance that Aliph might consider including the capability?
I realize that WIFI is not as popular as Bluetooth but I think there might be a use for it as well.
Mike.

Inky,
Our current products focus on Bluetooth & 3.5mm line input for source content. We can't comment on future features, but love the input on new use cases and how users want to use our products. Since most my mobile devices have Bluetooth I connect directly over BT to them. Then I use the NERD to connect my computers to the JAMBOX for wireless connection/ streaming.
