This is not an apple issue. I have other bluetooth audio devices from Yamaha, Sony and Dual. Non of these devices have this issue. It is only the Jambox that drops.

the reason i point to apple is that i've been able to reproduce this on both the jambox and the logitech Z515 speakers. i've not been able to test the others that you have mentioned so i can't speak to their performance. both of my speaker sets react exactly the same way.

Using MAC I've been having problems with dropped connections, and after putting my laptop to sleep I cannot reconnect to the Jambox without going through lengthy troubleshooting.

The problem still exists between the Jambox and my ThinkPad x220. I've also seen the issue between it and a Samsung tablet and iPad. For whatever reason it has no issues with the HTC TMobile G2.

Same problem here. Bluetooth does not work when paired with my iPhone 4 or my Macbook. I don't have any pc's so I can't check that. However, if it's an Apple issue than perhaps Jawbone shouldn't imply that they are compatible. Looks to me like this happens with all sorts of devices. Really disappointing product, which is unfortunate as I really like the look of it and the sound is awesome for the 1% of the time that it works correctly.

I've got a potential fix...I have the same issue, but it seems to have cleared up after following a few steps.
1. Unpair the device from your phone, and reset your phone (i have an iphone...hold home and power button 10 seconds)
2. Soft reset the jambox, but turning it off, holding the circle button and then plugging the usb power in and releasing the circle.
3. Repair the devices...and it seems to work again!

I'm having this problem too. My set up is a Lenovo T420S laptop running Windows 7 x64 on the stock Lenovo factory image. I just got the Jambox a couple of days ago. The Jambox is fully charged and works for a while but then sometimes will drop the bluetooth connection without warning. When it happens, the device is still "connected" to the computer but there is no audio. If I turn the Jambox off and then back on, the computer will reconnect to it and it works again.
I updated the device to the latest software/firmware and all drivers on my laptop are current.
This is very frustrating. This thread started almost 2 years ago and there still is no solution published by Jawbone? That's unacceptable. Also, how is it possible that this isn't a FAQ? Querying the Jawbone support database for "bluetooth connection drops" yields 2 results, both about pairing the device and offering no help.
