If it IS the Broadcom chip in the iPad2, then that would be not only disappointing, but a HUGE miss by Jawbone...especially since there's a pic of the Jambox being used w an iPad on their site (although, it does look like it's an iPad and not an iPad2 in the image.)

I've had the same problem with my iPhone, my wife's iPhone, and one of the people I gave to as a gift has the problem with her iPhone too. So, it's not restricted to the iPad.

Are those iPhone 4's that you're having trouble with? The iPhone 4 and iPad 1 & 2 all use the same Broadcom Wifi/Bluetooth card.

Yes, iPhone 4's.

I am having this exact problem. I'm glad (?) to see that others are too. When I first got my Jambox it was perfect, but now it'll play for a while - sometimes even up to an hour or so and then just drop. It is very frustrating. And by the way, my Jambox is less than a foot away from my iPad 2 when this happens. They both sit on my desk at work. I hope there's a fix because I really like the device and I paid too much money for it to stop working 2 months after I bought it.

Well, I replied to CS telling them that I didn't have a prob w my Android phone. I also asked point blank if they are aware of a problem w Jambox and iOS devices using this particular Bluetooth card. I haven't heard anything back yet.
However, I work on tablet applications. I have a wealth of iPads at my disposal. I am going to see if a random iPad 1 running Pandora drops as well. Next I'll try another iPad 2.

seems the best solution is to avoid apple stuff.
i have already successfully paired my Jambox with various different laptops, with an old sony ericsson mobile phone, with a samsung wave, samsung galaxy, even an iphone 1 where i had enabled A2DP streaming through a cydia hack and never ever had any streaming issues. lately when i tried to pair it with my neighbours ipad (old version) it also played flawlessly for a whole day.
why to blame the jambox? i would conclude that apple is just unable to implement their bluetooth device.
