I was so excited to get this a few days ago. It did not work correctly out of the box but after a full charge and reading the helpful hints from users via the forum (using a mac 10.6.8) seemed to finally work and I was thrilled with the product. Yesterday it worked great with my iphone, MacbookPro, and iMac. Just tonight, I just tried to sync it up to my mom's Macbook Air to show her how cool this little speaker was and I only got static. I thought that it may be because it was still syncing with my iphone4 but when I tried it on my iphone I got the same response from the speaker, static. I went to see if it would play on my Macbook Pro and I turned the Jambox on and off (by the way, it is fully charged) and It will only play using the "Bluetooth Headset" which sounds horrible. When I click "Bluetooth Headphones" it just goes back to static. After seeing how so many people have similar issues, I am very disappointed. I was about to tell all of my friends that this is a must buy but frankly if so many people are having the same issues and so quickly after purchasing, I will not be telling them to buy but to not buy. I also read from other reviewers that customer service is no help. I will be calling customer support tomorrow so hopefully I will be able to get this resolved with no issues. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm so sorry to hear about your frustrating Customer service experience. I will have a Support specialist reach out to you shortly.
Sorry again for the inconvenience you have experienced.
My Jambox was working fine but is now faulty.
It will not respond to either soft or factory reset.
It still communicates with ipod via lead.
But I cannot connect via Bluetooth.
It is continually stuck in red/white flashing mode, including when button is in raised position, and I no longer get the spoken pairing mode message.
My Jambox is new out of the packet and is not working. When plugged into the power plug or to my PC the LED flashes red twice and then turns white. My PC will not recognise the Jambox and nothing seems to make it work. I have tried a soft and hard reset with no luck. Most frustrating is when I call the Australian support number I am transfered to the U.S and am asked to leave a message for someone to call back. The website states that support centre is open from 6am to 4pm and I have called at 12pm. Pretty annoyed that I am unable to get any assistance.
No help from tech support over the phone. Have now been told I need to wait for someone from the U.K to contact me. What a hoax! Looks like I am now the proud owner of an expensive paperweight.
