Jambox startup and shutdownn volume

Wow so many people complaining about such an easy fix and yet nothing still. Get on it Jawbone!

I heard Emma advicing to give straight feedback to Jawbone with suggestions but I'm sure they already know this issue about all too loud beeps for volume change, pairing and on/off sounds. This is me just adding volume to complaints publicly.

I'm currently evaluating the device but I think I won't keep it. It's been several months and there's no fix to this issue and I'm looking to try comparable products instead.

Jawbone hurry up with the updates to fix the current issues. You are loosing customers! At least give us some feedback.

Yeah.

I can't have all my coworkers hearing 'Flirty' when I turn on the Jambox and I don't want to lose the feature.  Please fix that.

And, I shouldn't have to hold the volume down button every time I start up.  If it could be made to hold down once and make that a setting, that would be an adequate solution.

A small firmware mod to allow disabling these beeps and announces would make this device almost perfect.

Just purchased the jambox and was feaked out by all the system sound volume. So I came hear to find out what to do about the loud system sounds. Seems like jawbone people are deaf.....

I simply cannot imagine they use their own products and are not annoyed by the volume of these sounds.

Yes, I read there is a way to turn off the sound when turning on and off but this is not user friendly and feasible.

 I am missing a statement " yes, we (can) hear you and are implementing this fix" or " sorry, technically impossible"....... Emma?

I guess I should add my voice to the chorus. The beeps are far too loud and are really annoying to the people around me.

Totally happy with everything other than these ridiculously loud beeping noises! option to turn all sounds off please!

Hello Jawbone,

It has been over a year since people have been complaining about this issue.

While I applaud you for your actions concerning the Jawbone Up, I also feel you have provided poor service on this issue. I understand that the "Up issue" is company threatening and high profile, but it is the "little things" like the year-long volume issue that will defeat your efforts in the long run. A death of a thousand cuts.

Please address this issue soon.
