Jambox unable to update to 2.2

My Jambox can't update to software 2.2 and when it syncs, it shows this message:

UPDATE FAILURE

Update did not complete.

Your Jawbone may not be in a working condition.

e_fw_update_failed

My Jambox is working fine on my iPhone but it drops the connection sometimes when used with my Macbook Pro.

I've been trying to update my JAMBOX speakers but at around 3% or 4% I get an error:

Luckily the Jambox actually still works, just the update doesn't.  Anyone else with this problem?

I have the same problem. I have an older Jambox and i wasn't sure if that was the problem. This is the first time that I have tried connecting my Jambox to my Mac. I tried doing a soft reset of the Jambox, but didn't help.

The details are:

* new mac air

* clean install of mytalk

* jambox serial# 10900129CE

SAME THING HERE!!! Support team doesnt SUPPORT and this isnt the first time. I've had mine for a year and now I'm also having issued with the CHEAP USB cable.I will definitely NOT recommend this and I don't understand why APPLE sells these in the store being that APPLE standards are so much higher and their support impecable.

I updated, restarted the mac, shut down and then powered up the Jambox.  It connected for a few minutes, then shut itself off again.

The Jambox is connected, is turned on, and MyTalk can't see it.

Sigh.

I originally got the Jambox to use in the car with my iPod, or outside in the garden while I weeded.  It was not loud enough. I don't listen to music, I listen to podcasts. And, I don't listen to music or podcasts loud, but still it was not loud enough to hear it over the car noise, or to hear it if I was more than a few feet away in the garden.

So I started using with my iMac.  After updating to 10.7.4, it just would not stay connected.  I spent quite a bit of time yesterday working on getting it to stay connected.  I changed USB slots, I deleted it from bluetooth and re-added it...etc.  I was so happy to see an update today. So sorry it did not help the problem.  Maybe someday.

Ok I updated 5 jamboxes today and got the update failure message on 3 of the 5. As soon as the message popped up I disconnected the cable from the jambox, then reconnected, after a few seconds the jambox popped up in my talk and said I was up to date. Hope this helps

Purchased my JAMBOX today (Friday 13th July 2012), really disapointed, volume control not working and cannot update software. Update sticks at 4% and fails. Message reads; Update Failure. Update did not complete. Your Jawbone may not be in working condition. Error Message reads: e_fw_backup_failed:Invalid Request Bluetooth Address or Rsc not specified I thought I had bought a quality product and was just unlucky until I read these messages. This product is going back in the box and back to the store for a refund.

I fiddled with it for quite a while.  Finally got mytalk to see the jambox, and all seemed well... it was connected and playing music from my itunes.

It stayed connected about 5 minutes. Then had to fiddle with it again.  it still keeps disconnecting.  Will only stay connected a few minutes.
