I updated my jambox to the first update when live audio was added - (the crap update which lowered the volumn of the jambox dramatically) I am now unable to update the jamebox with the most recent update.
Running a mac 10.6.8 - safari, firefox, chrome, nothing works.
My icon is black and the jambox is confirmed as plugged in, but the mytalk website says no device connected, no matter how many times i try, no matter how many usb ports I try plugging in - i have deleted and reinstalled the app with full restarts serveral times, still mytalk says no device connected (even tho the app says jawbone plugged in.
This is so frustrating as the volumn level is really poor since the update... i just want it back to how it was...
please drop this shocking update system and just provide downloaded updates..
please how do i fix this -

It's nice to hear from you, urbangeek. Your contribution to our community enhances our ability to hear customer issues and resolve them. I think the fault we're seeing in your scenario is that the Jawbone updater program is failing to contact our updating servers. Your Jawbone can be seen by the computer, but the website cannot recognize it. This is almost always due to the user being on a corporate, or institutional computer or internet service. We suggest that if you are using a computer that you do not have administrative rights to, or an Internet service that is owned by someone else, that you try changing computers or using a 3G access card to establish your own network without those blocks.
