New Macbook has reduced reach

With my new MacbookPro (15''), the bluetooth signal strength seems to have declined significantly.

In more detail, with my new MacbookPro (bought in March), I can place the Jambox only half as far away from my Macbook than with my older MacbookPro (mid 2009).

Is there anything I can do about it?

(Preferebable without adding more hardware).
