To update to 2.1 or not to update?

Hi,

I just purchased two JamBoxes and was wondering should I leave them with the factory firmware or update to 2.1?  I have seen a handful of horror stories and do not want to limit the functionality and or make it a useless device.  I am on a mac so that is the updater I would use if I decide to pull the trigger.

I wouldn't recommend it. I JUST got my Jawbone this morning as a gift. I'm a sucker for updates, so Iplugged it into my PC and right at 4%, the update stopped and BRICKED my new toy! I called Jawbone and they walked me through several reset steps to no avail. She recommended I take it back to the retail store I purchased it at and have them replace it. I have just returned hoe with my second Jambox, and don't want to chance another paperweight.

Ultimately, it is unacceptable for such a name as Jawbone to put a product out that their own website breaks updating to their own software.

Just did it and now have live audio available.

No probmles whatsoever....
