I have scoured and haven't been able to find a thread to cover this issue.
I received my Jambox yesterday. Charged it overnight. I followed the little leaflet instructions to slide power button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. When i do this, i receive a loud continuous non-ending beep, almost like feedback from an external source. Turned it off, and tried again. same thing. i started hitting buttons to STOP this noise, and it finally stopped and made the "pairing" announcement. iPhone recognizes Jambox, but unable to pair. I turned off and tried again, and i have been unsuccessful in getting it into pairing mode again. The only status lights i see are when the unit is turned OFF. Any time i turn it on, all lights go out and nothing happens.
Any ideas what is wrong? Perhaps if there's a full user guide out there with full instructions, it might help.

I'm really sorry about the loud, continous beep coming from your JAMBOX, this should definitely not happen! Please contact Customer Support at 1800-JAWBONE, between the hours of 6 am- 7pm PST to discuss troubleshooting or warranty options.

Thanks you Jaimie - i did call, and you are right, it seems to be faulty, so Jawbone is sending me a new one! Excellent and prompt customer service from 1-800Jambone, i must commend you guys ![]()
