can you use jambox as your TV speaker?

I just got a jambox and haven't even opened it yet. I'm purchasing a new TV and I'm curious if i can use the jambox as an outdoor speaker for that TV. The TV specs say it has built in wifi, so would the jambox pick it up? The TV doesn't seem to have bluetooth capabilities but there are AV recievers that do. Would Jambox be able to connect to my AV reciever with bluetooth?

Thanks for writing in! The JAMBOX is a Bluetooth capable device and can connect wirelessly via Bluetooth or through the line in 3.5mm audio cable. 

You may connect to the TV using the audio cable.  If the AV receivers have Bluetooth capabilities, it should be able to pair with the JAMBOX.  You can pair by following the instructions in the user guide.

As long as your tv has an audio out, you can use the Jambox as an external speaker.  

You need to pick up a cable  RCA to 3.5mm jack.  you can get the cable at walmart or radio shack.   The cable is less than 6 dollars.    It works great!   I use it to help amplify the voices on the tv as they can get lost in the sounds of the action or backgroud..
