Synch problem, Bluetooth fail message

When I last synched I got an error message at the end saying :

 

e_fw_backup_failewd: Invalid Request Bluetooth Address or Rsc not specified.

 

 

after that I cant seem to synch at all, I just get this message everytime.

 

Im using Safari 5.1 on OSX 10.6.8

 

 

Does anyone know if there is still hope for my jawbone to function again ?  It cant connect my iphone any more..

I bought 3 of these jambox speakers and i cannot sync to my iphone or my ipod. Its terrible after spending sooooo much money. They sent me directions for a soft reset and of course it failed to sync !!!! VERY UPSET!!!!!!

i forgot to mention that my jambox wont hold a charge either!!!!!

Thank you both for taking the time to post in the Jawbone User Forum. It looks like there are two different questions here so let me address them separately.

 

I will address them in the order they were posted in.

 

_Niklas_ you should be able to resolve the sync error problem by first performing a soft reset on your JAMBOX using the directions at http://aliph.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/209. Once the JAMBOX has been reset you will want to clear the cookies from Safari and return to the MyTALK page to sync your JAMBOX.

 

Lilbitlori, it sounds like you are having trouble with Bluetooth pairing and charging. The two problems may be related as the JAMBOX needs to be fully charged in order to enter pairing mode. If you have been charging your JAMBOX with the AC wall adapter you should try plugging the micro USB cable directly into the USB port on your computer. For help with pairing you can consult the directions at http://aliph.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/202.

I got it working again. Disconnected myUSB hub and hooked the jawbone straight to my mac instead. Did a new synch and was back in business again.  Great!
