How do you carry your Jawbone?

[ Edited ]

Can Jawboner share your ideas and suggest a better way to carry your Jawbone Bluetooth Heaadset?

1. Custom made or Do-It-Yourself(DIY) Jawbone holder

2. Put in shirt pocket

3. Put in with mobile phone carrying case

4. Share please?

I am searching some practically use landyard that allow me to wear with Jawbone

Jawbone 'Quick-Snap' Detachable Lanyard
http://arcanehacker.blogspot.com/2009/05/jawbone-detachable-lanyard.html

I prefer this custom made as it can detach from the jawbone and put it back easily. The problem is I have to made one myself and I will lose the holder if I decide to store my jawbone back to the box :smileyindifferent:

I hope next generation of blustooth should come with a landyard - much better must be from  Yves Behar, Product Designer

Re: How do you carry your Jawbone?

Thanks for the suggestion Jonathan, does anyone else think that they would use a lanyard if we offered it as a carrying solution?

Carrying case

I've owned two Jawbone headsets, both are great.  One problem is what to do with it when it's not in use.

Put in my a pocket?  Bulges, falls out, earloop snags stuff.

Coat pocket or pants pocket?  Gets crunched.

Hang by its earloop on a shirt button?  Works but tends to fall off.  Plus it looks dorky.

Sit on the console in my car?  Hot, slides off, gets crunched by other objects.

I've looked online for third-party cases.  None available so far.  They make them for other mfgrs (Motorola).

So how about a small carrying case?  You guys are really good at design, I'm sure you could whip something up that would be stellar and very distinctive!

Even better ... a small carrying case for the Jawbone headset which nests inside of a larger carrying case which contains the charger, cord and other stuff.

Re: Carrying case

Dave, thank you very much for those suggestions.  We really appreciate your feedback, and it is interesting to hear what you think of the various carrying solutions you have already tried.  I have relayed your feedback to our product team for consideration!

Thanks again!

Holder needed

I have a Jawbone 2 and the biggest problem I have is a place to put it when I am out and about and don't want it in my ear. SInce the unit turns off (or a bigger problem - ON) when the back is pressed, it is constantly toggling power modes by putting it in a pocket or briefcase. I found an after market 3rd party mini-holster at Best Buy for it, but even this does not protect the unit from getting pinched and changing modes. It would be best if I could put it in my pocket and whip it out if the phone rings. Has anyone found a solution for this?

Re: Holder needed

Was just brainstorming on this myself.  My first bluetooth device had a neck strap which was plasticky and stick in sweaty S FL. I then tried a leather shoelace but was also annoyed.  I am thinking of experimenting with other thin strings that might fit through the little ear loop hole which I do not use.   Something thin, cottony that would break easily or pull aprt so I don't hang myself.  Keep ya posted.

Re: How do you carry your Jawbone?

Hi - here are retractable and necklace style carriers.  I had such a difficult time finding my headset that I created these for myself then people started asking me about it.  Here's a link to a video to show how it works: http://www.nectaraccessories.com/Bluetooth-Headset-Cases-Holders-s/33.htm.  And if you like these, please let Jawbone know and maybe they'll offer to their customers.  :smileyhappy:
