Re: Ear Loop Disappointment

Problem could easily be solved with a protective plastic case.  After going through 6 earloops in a year I decided to just put the Jawbone in a small zippered pouch that still fit in my pocket.  It solved the problem of the earloop breaking AND the challenge of never being able to dig it out of my handbag when I needed it.

Re: Ear Loop Disappointment

I have also found the ear loop disappointing for the same reasons and because it is virtually impossible to keep the sensor  in contact with my face.  It moves constantly and does not stay in my ear in a way that makes it easy to hear or to be heard.  When I can get it to stay in place by pressing it against my face and holding it in my ear it works fine.  If I press it just slightly to adjust it in my ear however,  it disconnects.  But is this the way it was designed to function?

Re: Ear Loop Disappointment

Being a female of small stature, I have used many bluetooths and always have trouble with them not fitting my ear.  I have had the most success with the jawbone ear loop and ear bud due to its varying sizes.  However, I would recommend that jaw bone make one more smaller sized ear loop and ear bud then what they chave currently have.

You can push it out using a pin or other small object.

No kidding, huh?

I think the issue was the worthlessness of the earloops, not how to remove that little piece that remains trapped in your jawbone, b/c the dancer just worked your front pocket, like a car wash.

Stupid dancers.

Terrible earbuds and loops

I use my Jawbone everyday and overall I would rate this as a failed product.  I drive a truck and everyone I talk to on my Jawbone complains of background noise and if that is not enough, the earbuds fall apart and the rubber material on the ear loop gets stretched and eventually the metal pierces the end of it and you continuously battle keeping it on the tip.  Oh and did I mention, I use the voice activated commands....and I ALWAYS have to repeat the command...and a lot of times I just give up and open the phone and dial the number...and...if the wind is even thinking about blowing...don't try using the Jawbone in it cause that is all anyone hears.  The good news, my wife also has a Jawbone and it is perfect but I somehow believe that has something to do with the fact that she almost never uses it.  SURE WISH I COULD GET MY MONEY BACK!!

I will buy another bluetooth, and it won't be a Jawbone...oh and one more thing, my brother has BOTH models of Jawbone...they better hope he doesn't give his opinion on here!!!!!!!!   My comments are nice compared to what he will have to say about this junk!

Re: Terrible earbuds and loops

I have had my Jawbone for a couple of years, when I first bought it I hated the ear loop and the piece that sticks in the ear, so what I did was went and bought a small O ring and got some of those Jabra ear jells that fit in the ear, wow what a difference they made. I have been a happy customer with the Jawbone every since, even when my first one broke (the breakaway part that holds the earpiece) I contacted the company , they sent me another one and I have had no problems with it since. They even sent a box to send the old one back to them, so I recommend the product after spending close to  $600.00 dollars trying to find a good earpiece I found one, and it's the original Jawbone I love it. Even though I contacted Jawbone about the loop that fits over the ear and told them about how uncomfortable it was and gave them a solution 2 years ago I see they never changed the loop, with the ear jells it is great. I drive a big rig and it seems to be the only that drowned out the engine noise and I could hold a conversation without being told ( I can't hear you ) so I highly recommend the product with the modifications.

Thank you,

Ron Bell

Re: Terrible earbuds and loops

Again...spend more money to make what is supposed to be a "great" product work properly.  I too drive a truck, and this Jawbone is what was supposed to solve my communication problems! Two years later I am still dealing with frustrating calls and a Jawbone that is falling apart (at least it is consistent at something).  Oh and for those who wonder why I still use it, simple, I am not into throwing my hard earned money away (even though by buying this product I did), I will continue to use it till it falls apart completely or the battery is shot (I assure you the falling apart issue is wining.)

Re: Earloop breaks

Wow, I'm glad I'm not the only one breaking these things.  What are the options for an original jawbone?  Call for a warranty replacement within one year?  Does the new earbud fit on the original jawbone or just the 2 newer models?  Do the new earloops fit on the original jawbone?  After December, I'd hate to have to pay $10 for one or $25 for the 3 ear-loops online somewhere.  Best headset I've ever had, but if I have no earloops, I can't keep it in...
