Jawbone Charge Indicator Stays Red for hours

[ Edited ]

Hi,

My Jawbone Prime charge indicator stays on red for

way past 50 minutes. I had it on 2-3 hours the last two

times. it didn't seem to chage to white until I disconnected

it and reconnected nad left it on charge awhile.

The connection seem weird as I have to plug in on

and remove it a few times to get it to connect to light

up red.

I've had it on 5 hours tonight and reconnected for a half

hour now and it's still red. It seemed the after a charge

was seccessful in the past it would then charge fast

if I hadn't let it run down much.

Now I see it has turned white after I reconnected

it again and left it about 15 minutes.

Is it charging when it's red and not turning on the white

indicator? I could see this being a hassle when I go

to using my car charger more when our new law

here goes into effect.

I purchased it on Ebay factory sealed.

It may be grey area so I purchased an

Ebay 3 year SquareTrade warranty on

the Jawbone Prime.

Can Jawbone replace it for me before I go to

SquareTrade. They say they try to get the manufactuer

to do so during the 1st year but will do it of the

manufacturer will not.

I'm just hoping Jawbone will see my post and be

nice since I had the SquareTrade and Ebay

receipt.

Or do you have some advice in why this is happening

and how I can test or work around it. I do have a

car charger with it's own  USB charge cable. I think

I noticed the weak connection on it also. I will try

it.
