One of the biggest differences that I've noticed is the volume level of the Prime is greatly increased over the J2. Even with my J2 turned up, I could barely hear the other end of the conversation if I was in any moderate noise. With my Prime, I have to turn the volume down, because it's too loud with it turned all the way up. I like that!

I've got about 20 hours on my Prime now, and I am quite pleased with this unit. This has even achieved a better sound quality than the original, something the J2 could never do.
I've been on conference calls longer than 2 hours straight, and I've had zero issues with cutting in and out. As far as the caller is concerned, they think I'm on a landline or using the handset.
Nice work Aliph! You've finally won me back!

So much for not shelling out $130...lol. this is a great question you gave because looking at reviews on other websites, I think some people are reviewing the JB2 instead of the Prime.

I actually didn't shell out the $130 for the Prime. Aliph replaced my J2 with a Prime for free, because I've had so many issues with the J1 and the J2. It was a great jesture by the company, and I can honestly say that now after at least a 100 hours with the Prime... this is the best headset you can own. I think I've had a couple of times where a caller couldn't hear me, but it was mainly because it wasn't sitting right on my face, and I had to move it. But no problems like I was having with the J2. If you use bluetooth everyday for important calls, then you need this device.

They sound like the have great support. I have not decided on what to get yet. I am torn between this and Blueant V1. Have you ever used Blueant?

Their support is definitely improved. A lot of us were very upset during J2 release, because support was lacking. They've fixed that problem significantly.
I've not used Blueant, although I've seen pretty good reviews for it. But I like the Prime so much, that I wouldn't recommend anything else. There could be other comparble units out there, but this one meets all of my needs and its very lightweight and charges very quickly. You certainly won't be dissapointed with the Prime.

Jawbone Laurel, you are really on the ball with these posts. I don't even have a jawbone yet and just looking at how you respond to everyone makes me actually want to buy one. It looks like you guys provide great customer service. If I do get one and have a problem, I will be contacting you first on this forum.
It is nice to see that some companies still like to keep their customers satisfied.
