Prime shuts off when charging - is it me or as designed?

If I put my Prime on the charger it shuts down as disconnects from the phone.  Not Ideal for answering if it rings.  I have to power it back up after removing from charger.  Is there a way to stay on and charge?

When you charge the headset, it turns off by design.  At this time, there is no way to keep the headset on while it charges.  Hope that helps!
