Love my new BigJambox. But it really needs the carry case. So far I have carrying it in the box that it came in, not real practical. I thought I ordered the carry case, which IMHO is way overpriced, but it appears to be backordered. Any ideas on when it will ship. What are others doing to carry their BigJambox around?

So far I've just been carrying it in my backpack with me. It seems sturdy enough so I haven't had much worry about it getting damaged.
It fits perfectly between the front pocket and bag which has straps that go between them, so I like to walk with it playing behind me.

Hey Micheal -
We are working on a versatile Jambox Case that would allow you to listen to the speaker while protecting the speaker during a wide range of activities. You can strap it to a bike or backpack (anything really).
Would love some feedback http://bit.ly/jamboxcaselaunch

It's not necessarily elegant but I am using an military amo can to transport my Big Jambox around. I wrap the Big Jambox in a towel to protect it from banging around inside the amo can. There is room inside for all the plugs and adapters and (unlike the soft case option) it could probably handle a fall from four (+/-) feet and not be damaged.
Also, I have the amo can to rest the speaker on to keep it slightly elevated when listening at the campground and I have the towel to keep it clean :-) I will still probably get the soft case as that is a much more practical case option for packing the speaker set in a suitcase for travel.
