Using the talk button for voice dialing

According to the manual I am supposed to press the talk button once and then I can voice dial.  When it works correctly it will beep twice and after the second time I can say the name and it will repeat the name back to me and call.  When it doesn't work it will beep once and nothing will happen.  Am I doing something wrong?

I got an email to reset it, but that didn't fix anything.  The talk button works to end callls and to redial.  It has worked for voice dialling a few times.  How do I get it to work again?

If it used to work for Voice Dialling, but doesnt anymore, and you have already tried resetting the headset, something may have happened to your headset (maybe coming in contact with water or getting dropped?) to make the Voice Dialling activation stop.  if you still cant get it to work, please give us a call  and we will do everything we can to get you a headset that will work with Voice Dialling as it should! 1-800-JAWBONE.  Thanks!
