Deleting food entries

I accidently entered the same food entries twice. How do I go back and delete the unwanted entry?

Re: Deleting food entries

Mmb118,

Welcome to the Jawbone Community!

First, tap on the food entry in your UP Feed. Then, tap the edit icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. From there you can delete!

I don't have an edit button on the lower left side!

Re: Deleting food entries

You may have to scroll down. At least with my ipod I do. Also, what is frustrating is you cannot delete a component of a food entry. For instance, if you had steak and potato and salad and dressing and bread and butter if you don't save each item individually then to delete one thing you have to start over.

If you entered something twice you can always drag your finger over the entries and make them each one half of a serving.

Re: Deleting food entries

JawboneAlex,
I save all of the components of my meal together which makes more sense to me. But because I do that there is no way to delete one item - correct? I would have to delete the entire meal and start over?

Re: Deleting food entries

Hi -- I just got my Jawbone UP and I use it with my Samsung Stellar phone.  I inadvertently listed a food item twice but I cannot figure out how to delete it.  I read in another post that you said to open the item and then click on the edit key in the lower left-hand corner, but when I open my item it looks like this:

<Up Item Details

_______________________________________________

                                                I had ...

  [PHOTO]                               Poultry

_______________________________________________

Search Nutrition Database                /////                    [Search]

If you can't locate an item or ingredient in our extensive

database, you can add your own deatils.

Tap here to add nutritional info manually.

_______________________________________________

And that is all that shows on my phone.  Am I doing something wrong?  I have

an old iPad (original) but I don't think UP syncs with it.  Do you have any

suggestions?  Thank you very much!

Re: Deleting food entries

I can't find an edit button either.  It might be nice if the admin posted a pic of where they think these mysterious things are.

Re: Deleting food entries

JawBoneAlex: Suggested solution does not work - there is no Edit button at lower left corner after taping on food item. Please post clear, correct solution. This is really annoying. Should be simple. Thanks.
