Help with trouble recording sleep!

I really like my UP band, however I am having problems with the readings form my data output, essentially I go to sleep at midnight daily and wake up at around 7-7:15am daily, but my sleep data recorded is incredibly erattic and completely incorrect.

Here are 3 screen shots, the first one is a good data reading:

The second one shows only 3 hours of recorded sleep even though I actually went to sleep the SAME time:

3 hours.jpg

And finally, last night, which shows only about an hour and a half, again, went to sleep at the same time:

Some things to include:

the button on my ban is not worn, i just got this abotu a week ago.  I don;t usually even press the button during the day for activities yet; I wear it 24/7 except in the shower. I always hit the sleep button at night, but in the morning it seems to already be in awake mode.

Any ideas? Is mine defective?

Re: Help with trouble recording sleep!

I wear mine with the button facing toward my thumb bc I noticed I would have accidental press of the button while I was sleeping and it would come out of sleep mode bc I would squeeze my pillow. I would awake up to use the bathroom and notice it out of sleep mode and put it back into sleep mode. Maybe try turning your band the other way from were you have been wearing it and see if that helps.

Re: Help with trouble recording sleep!

First night with my up and the sleep was not recorded accurately. I woke up at 5:30 and went back to sleep for an hour and a half and that time wasn't counted.

Re: Help with trouble recording sleep!

Hello, I've had my band for nearly three weeks now and have the same issues with the sleep function. I have turned my band as noted by soldierguy77, trying to resolve possibly going out of sleep mode by inadvertently pressing the button while sleeping. It doesn't seem to matter, as I continue to have 3+ nights a week where I have missing sleep hours. I'm considering finding some kind of "cap" to cover the end that will not allow it to be pressed accidentally. Also, I think an Extra Small size should be offered as the small on my wrist seems a bit big and I think that is contributing to the end cap exposure. Thanks

Re: Help with trouble recording sleep!

I tried as you suggested and I still was missing hours, not as much but definitely hours lost, this time at the end of my sleep time. I slept from 1:30am to 12pm this time and it only reordered 1:30am-10am this time. I did not get up in the middle of the night and the "awake" function was already enabled.
