Re: HELP** My Jawbone turns on by itself

First, make sure you are fully turning it off, and not just putting it in standby mode.  Also, sure it isnt being turned on in your pocket accidentally.  If you do both those things and it still turns on by itself, please give us a call and we would be more than happy to walk you through some further troubleshooting.

finding the same Re: HELP** My Jawbone turns on by itself

I am finding the same problem, and would be interested in hearing how to deal with it.  I am pretty sure that the earpeice is being turned off (not put in standby) because of the audio signal (tri-tone going lower).  I suspect that the button is being depressed while in my laptop bag, and the unit is being turned on.  Is there any way to 'lock' the system to prevent that?  Do I need to locate some type of hard protective case to store the earpeice in to prevent button contact?

Unfortunately there is no way to "lock" it in the off position.  We recommended finding a carrying case for it.  We have heard of our users coming up with very creative solutions, from Altoid boxes, to Contact Lens cases!
