Jawbone Prime and LG Dare

i just bought a Prime and got it paired with my LG Dare. it works fine for answering calls, but i can't use the voice commands, and i can't turn it off when it's paired. what can i do?

so i've determined that the jawbone was a waste of money will be taking it back.
